Comments on the trip

Thank you again for another successful Boston trip! We had a great time. Thank you for all of your hard work and your efforts to make it easier for everyone. Every year we say how easy it is to show up and know where we're staying, where we're eating, how we're getting to the start line, etc. Thank you!

"Denise and I had a BLAST, thanks largely to your planning and executing efforts!!!!  KUDOS!"

"Thanks for organizing a great travel experience. Everything was flawless. The massages were a perfect finishing touch."

"The bus transition at the State Park could not have gone better. Thanks for everything."

"As always everything was great.  Dinner was perfect and it's always good to meet new marathon friends.

The shuttle was great, no problems getting there.  I heard rumors that you were try to get an official BAA permit

so that the bus could go directly to Hopkinton.  That would be even better, but the current plan is just fine.

The massage really works out some of those kinks so that you can hit the post race party.

The people in Boston are unbelievable, both the spectators and the volunteers.

They make you feel like a champion for a day.  Everyone should do the Boston Marathon if they have the opportunity.

This was my second and it was better than the first time."

LODGING - Boston Park Plaza Hotel - $249.00 per night (plus tax) - VERY close to the finish line.

  • Surrounded by Boston’s swank Back Bay neighborhood, this 950-room hotel is just one block from the Theater District and the swan boats in the Public Garden and two blocks from upscale Newbury Street shopping.

  • In 2001, the hotel initiated a $60-million renovation, beginning with the guestrooms. Each room was tastefully redecorated with comfortable new furnishings, down comforters, and plush carpeting.

  • The hotel, sprawling across an entire city block, is like a small city in itself with airline ticket offices, nine restaurants and lounges, a fitness room, a hair salon, and 36 function rooms.

From the Boston Park Plaza Hotel, you are walking distance

to the Expo, the Dinner on Sunday, and the Finish Line.

A $100 deposit is required to reserve your trip.

The balance will be due four weeks prior to the departure date.

PRE-RACE DINNER - $49 per person (includes tax & tip)

Boston can be very crowded on Sunday prior to the marathon.  Join us for dinner and avoid the hassle of finding a place to have your pre-marathon meal.

Maggiano's is directly across the street from our hotel. A special pre-marathon menu has been created for our group that includes 2 appetizers, 2 salads, 2 meat entrees (salmon & chicken), 2 pasta dishes (vegetarian) and 2 desserts. We'll enjoy our meal in a private dining room, away from the noise and crowds in the restaurant.  A cash bar will also be available. Reserve your spot early. Space is limited.

PRIVATE SHUTTLE from the PARK PLAZA HOTEL to the START - $25

Your ride to the start has also been arranged. No need to wake up extra early to catch the race shuttle bus!! Just walk out the door of the hotel and hop aboard our private shuttle bus.

And did we mention...it has a bathroom onboard!!

MASSAGE AFTER THE MARATHON - $35 (for 30 min.)

A massage...after the marathon, after a shower....aaaahhhh!

"After dragging myself across the finish line and back to our hotel, the treat that waited nearly equaled having the medal placed around my neck. After a quick shower, I headed back downstairs for a post-race massage that surpassed anything I'd been dreaming of on the run. I was toast and it was grand!"
